Why did you choose to go to Almeria, Spain?

Almeria is city which has the largest number of sunny days in Spain.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

4 months. From my University it was around 360 euro per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Almeria?

Amazing. Almeria it's not a big city so all erasmus people always keep together. There are a lot of pubs, clubs that you can enjoy. Also at Univeristy you can make a lots of sports. Almeria have one big shopping center so in fact everything what you need you can find in this city

Would you recommend the city and the University of Almeria to other students?

Yes!

What is the food like?

It's good. Of course different that in my country but I like a lot spainish food and idea like "Tapas".

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Almeria?

No. To find accommodation help me International Office in University in Almeria.

How much does it cost to live in Almeria?

Of course it depends what you want to do there and how much money you want to spend. but with 400-500 euro per month you can easily surrvive

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language it's not difficult. Yes, there is course for foreginers.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Almeria from your city?

Go to Malaga airport and from Malaga airport take bus to Almeria

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Almeria?

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Almeria?

Tio Tom, one restaurant that is in square next to cathedral, La térmica.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Sevilla, Granada, Giblaltar, Cadiz, Malaga, Cordoba a lots of cities

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Almeria in the future?

Fisrt learn Spainish before you go there! In Almeria people really don't know english!
