Last summer I was travelling through various places in Spain, and my time in Alicante was my fondest. I have always been fascinated and attracted to spain. So maybe that's why I fell in love with the first city in Spain I visited. I arrived in Alicante on a hot summer afternoon, and I was filled with excitement. I made my way to a student hostel, and the friendly girl at the reception gave me pointers on where to go and what to do. I refreshed myself and headed out with nothing other than my wallet, phone and a map of the city. I decided to walk around to experience the place better. I started walking and  it was so exciting, the beautiful catalonian language, music to ears, the people, the busy streets and the complete different surrounding than the one in Germany where I was a student at that time. I came across a beautiful beach and couldn't resist so I just went for a dip in the sea. Then I walked around more around the city, had a very cold and refreshing beer then I made my way tothe castke on top of the hill, and the view was amazing. later I came back to the hostel and I was told there was going to be a party. I met some really awesome fellow travellers. I had to leave ealy next day to granada, as I had a bus and a football match between Barcelona(huuuge fan) and Granada to catch. But I decided to wing it and had a blast with the lovely people, we were up till early in the morning, dancing, singing roaming around the city. And then I missed the bus next day XD. I overslept, I missed the match I was dearly hoping to see. But! luckily I had booked for another match a few days later between Barcelon and Seville, and I did make it to madrid for the match in time this time! It was one of the most fun time I've ever had!
