What is it like to live in Alicante? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It is the best city. Yes, I would recommend it to all people because it is not to big, not to small, nice and kind locals, delicious food and good nightlife. The city is full of palm trees, nice beaches, lovely bars and restaurants.
What is the student lifestyle like in Alicante?
The student lifestyle is quite normal. Life is not expensive in Alicante. We normally eat and drink outside.
How much does it cost to live in Alicante?
I would say around 500-600 euros.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Alicante? Is there any advice you can give?
No, it is very easy to find a good and nice place. I would recommend to live in center because everything is in center (shops, bars, clubs, restaurants, train station... ).
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is very delicious and not expensive. My favorites are: Churros con chocolate, Paella, Tapas...
What places would you recommend visiting in Alicante?
I would say castle Santa Barbara, shopping street, Playa Postiguet, Port...
Is it good to eat out in Alicante? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes, it is very good to eat outside. My favorite spots are Tapa Cana, 100 Montaditos, Canada Cupcake Cafe, Sale & Pepe, Akasaka.
Is the nightlife good in Alicante? Where is good to go?
The nightlife in Alicante is amazing! There are 4 party areas. For me, the best is Barrio and port. I like Budha, Carpe Diem, Havana, Concerto, 5 avenida, Kraken...
What advice would you give future students headed to Alicante?
Here is my advice: Study in Alicante! Learn Spanish, meet new people, travel and have fun. The best things in life are the people you love, the places you've seen and the memories you've made along the way :)
