What's the student life like in Alicante?
Really good, both in the city of Alicante as well as in San Vicente del Raspeig, which is where the campus is based, there is a great student environment every day.
What's the cost of living like in Alicante?
Alicante is not an expensive city. Accommodation is pretty good with regards to quality vs price and as for nights out, there are loads of deals in the bars.
Was it hard to find accommodation in Alicante? Do you have any advice
No, it's not difficult. Normally people go for one of two options: live in central Alicante, where you are closer to the beach and nightlife... or live in San Vicente del Raspeig, where the university campus is, and where the student life has improved a lot in recent years.
How's the country's food? What are your favourite dishes?
Food in Alicante is typical of the Mediterranean diet, very rich and healthy. The best? Any variety of their typical rice dishes.
What places do you recommend visiting in Alicante?
What I like best about Alicante is their coastal areas... The cape and the beach of San Juan. Top tip: do not go to the beach in Alicante, Postiguet. Apart from being quite dirty, there are often thefts of personal items there....

What places do you recommend for a night out in Alicante?
The Castaños area, where the theatre is, the fashionable area in Alicante. You'll find a great atmosphere there every evening, and on Saturday evenings it is an excellent place to party. For those who have more stamina... from 3 in the morning, the best place to go is Stereo, behind the Central Market, which plays the best indie and alternative music.
Do you have any advice for students coming to Alicante?
Alicante is a very comfortable city to live in, with good prices and a great vibe... enjoy it!
