What is it like to live in Alicante? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I love Alicante!!! Is best place to meet many people, its very is a very tolerant city, also for sexual minorities. They are many "fiestas"(partys), clubs ;) and many cultural places.

What is the student lifestyle like in Alicante?

they are very open people! they have not any problems, everything is easy :) You can meet many kind of nationalities

How much does it cost to live in Alicante?

it's little expencive, I payd for room150 for rent + electrycities + gas - It was 3 years ago.. and it was cheap.. You have to pay for normal life 200-250 euro per mounth. + food and drink :D i think that 400-450 euro per mount with everything its ok to normal life there.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Alicante? Is there any advice you can give?

hm... If you want to find something You have to ask another students in Univercitys, put any adds on the add-boards, in newspaper you will find many adds, but you have to be careful for landlords.. they are very differs.. When I came to Alicante I login in the special webpage :

I recommend, but be careful :) I have not any problems.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Kebabs, Pizzas,salads, food in good restaurant is very expencive

What places would you recommend visiting in Alicante?

The castle! is beautiful view from the top of the landscape, Costa Blanca - beast beach! :)

Is it good to eat out in Alicante? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I have not.. but believe me, you will found many places in this cities :)

Is the nightlife good in Alicante? Where is good to go?

wooooow xD maaaaaanyyyyy!!!! everywhere! xD on the beach, many, many clubs, if you will meet many friends - they will showed you ;) spanish people are very very open and direct..

What advice would you give future students headed to Alicante?

If you want to study there, you have to buy bus card- its cheaper to travler in this cities. One ticket is expencive.. also for students.. If you want to make party in house you have to buy many alcohol in the shop of the day, becouse saler can sale for you alcohol only to 10.pm later you cant buy any alcohol! Clubs are open at 1.00-2.00 am!! before is closed. Guys! sorry about my English ! ;) I know- its horrible! Good luck  and good fun! :)
