How long is your stay for? How much aid do you receive?

5 months.

How is student life in Alicante?

Drunk but cool.

Would you recommend the city and the university of Alicante to other students?

Without any hesitations!

How is the country's food?

Spicy.

Did you have any difficulties in finding accommodation in Alicante?

Absolutely not. There are apartments everywhere. In regards to the rent, expect to pay €300 for an apartment of around 45m² (bills included). Yes, with internet. It's attractive.

How are living costs in Alicante?

Food shopping: €15 a week (with good food too)

Transport: youth card €21, 20 for 40 journeys.

Bars: drinks are between €1 and €8.

Nightclubs: to avoid. They're packed with plonkers in heat (armed with adidas backpacks and with the first name, Pedro).

How is the learning of the language? Have you been to any language courses organised by the university?

There are options to learn the language reserved for Erasmus. Otherwise, there are several language schools in the city centre.

What's the most affordable way to get to Alicante from your city?

On Pedro's back.

There is the tram, bus and taxi (for cheap, €8 type for 15 minutes journey).

What places would you recommend to go out and party in Alicante?

The esplanade and the entire city centre. Follow a Pedro, you will find alcohol, bars and good music there.

And to eat in Alicante? What are your favourite places?

Lizarran, an enormous tapas bar.

And what cultural visits do you advise?

The uni proposes a fair amount of cultural visits.

Otherwise, there is the Santa Maria Basilica, the El Campello caves and the Santa Barbara castle.

Any advice to give to future students in Alicante?

Bring sun-cream and your swimsuits. You won't max your credit card out too much. Everything is affordable. Enjoy the nights out and good atmosphere.
