Very salty and greasy

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes.

Yes there are but they are not really helpful...

The most important thing is to find Spanish friends

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Alicante from your city?

By airplain

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Alicante?

Barrio: there are a lot of different and cheap bars

Clubs: Quinta avenida

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Alicante?

But there are way too much fast food restaurants

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

• The castle
• Foguera museum
• El Palmeral, Elche
• Calpe & Altea
• Playa Muchavista
• Playa Cartagena

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Alicante in the future?

Visit the city once before you decide to go there! I did the same and it was 100% worth it!

Do not live close to the university! It's so much better to live in the city centre! And if possible take an airbnb first and look for a flat on your own during the first week of university...

And it is better not to be a vegetarian in Spain.
