It is a city with a coast and a great climate. It isn't very big and you can get across the whole city on foot. It has great transport connections: bus (number 24 for the university) and the tram (line 2).

What's the student lifestyle like in Alicante?

The university has a beautiful campus - a garden with differently sized and shaped buildings, and it is located in San Vicente del Raspeig. The medical campus is in San Juan.

There is a great student atmosphere, and being in a smaller city means you can get to know everyone.

How much does it cost to live in Alicante?

It depends on the area, but it isn't excessively expensive. You can get a shared flat for 200 euros a month and in a good area too.

Was it difficult to find accommodation in Alicante? Do you have any advice?

It's easy via the internet. You can also get help at the international student department at the university and there are notices for accommodation all over the city... there's lots on offer.

The castle, the port, the old town. The area where the bars are, the Co-cathedral of Saint Nicholas, San Juan beach. There is also another beach in the centre of Alicante called Postiguet.

There are lots of bars and clubs around the ​​Castaños area - a pedestrian zone- and El Barrio.

There is a good university student atmosphere in El Barrio and a good club on Calle Gerona (Gerona Street).
