How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Not so much. Most people need between 5000-9000 dkk/month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Aarhus?

There is something for everyone. Galleries, museums, bars, clubs, etc.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Aarhus to other students?

Yes. It is a nice city and a very good university.

What is the food like?

I personally don't like Danish food, but there are a lot of options, so it is not a problem.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Aarhus?

Finding a place is the hardest thing. There are a lot of students in the city from all around the world and the town itself is not that big. There are a few web pages where you can look for accommodation but there is always a risk that you will end up without such.

How much does it cost to live in Aarhus?

As I said before, most people need between 5000-9000 dkk/month.

Depends whether you were able to find a cheap place (3000 dkk), do you use a bike or public transport, do you go out very often.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are courses available. The language is very hard. Almost everyone speaks English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Aarhus from your city?

From Plovdiv you can get a plane to London and then another plane to Aarhus/Billund. But you may have to spend a whole day in London. There are no direct flights from Bulgaria and you waste one day in travelling.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Aarhus?

There is a wide variety of clubs and places to go.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Aarhus?

It's a bit expensive so I tend to eat at home.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Everyone has to visit Den Gamle By, Moesgard Museum, the Botanical Garden and the Deer Park.
