Why did you choose to go to Aarhus, Denmark?
Because the education is in English.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
As long as you work 43 hours a month you can get scholarship.
What is the student lifestyle like in Aarhus?
It's great. I thought it would be boring but we had many team building activities at school and we made many friends.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Aarhus to other students?
Definetly.
What is the food like?
There are many restaurants. You can find chinese, spanish, brazilian, arabic, romanian, greek food. Almost everything.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Aarhus?
No, but I would recommend to start applying as soon as possible. In February, I think, the application process starts. By the way, don't forget to check the box with "priority". I didn't and i had trouble finding acommodation.
How much does it cost to live in Aarhus?
The rent is around 2500 kr per month. And you would need 2-3000 kr more for food, the buss ticket, and everything else.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, you are entitled to 2 years free Danish courses.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Aarhus from your city?
By bus, but it takes 2 days.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Aarhus?
City center. They have many nice night clubs and also many student parties.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Aarhus?
I recommend going to D'Amici, Asia restaurant, and the restaurant Can Blau.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
I didn't visit much of Aarhus yet. I have visited Copenhagen more than Aarhus and it's amazing.
