It seems like a nice and lively place, but I was here during the Easter break when not much happened

Great! I'd recommend AKL (Lebanese place) and Nobis to every student

Only time and effort
How much does it cost to live in Aachen?
Not sure, I got a good offer, but also only one offer
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
German is as easy as any other language, if not easier for Indoeuropean language speakers
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Aachen from your city?
Flight Krk - Köln, then train Köln - Aachen
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Aachen?
I guess I would
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Aachen?
AKL, Nobis, not much else - I don't eat out much since I'm alone and working on a very tight schedule
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The cathedral, the treasury, the Centre Charlemagne, the city hall
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Aachen in the future?
It seems to be the a unique type of city: it's a student city, but it's still pretty cheap. Compared to Heidelberg or Cambridge, the prices are spectacularly normal
