I really like living in Utrecht. It is a beautiful city with young people and nice places to go to. Lots of people who live in Utrecht are students, so there are many places you can go out. It may be hard to find a house in Utrecht.

What is the student lifestyle like in Utrecht?

Most of the students work hard, but when they're free they go to a lot of party's. Everyday of the week there is a place you can go to. So it's possible to go out every day. There are also a lot of parks near the city centre where you can go to and relax.

How much does it cost to live in Utrecht?

Housing in Utrecht can be very expensive. There are so many students looking for houses, so the owner of the houses can ask a high price for an apartment or room. But you have to search for a while, there are also houses that are not that expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Utrecht? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes. It is very hard. Because of the many students who wants to live in Utrecht. You have several sites you can use:

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I like the Dutch food it is really varied. You can find food from all over the world, and there are many different restaurants. You can eat Chinese, Japanese, Thais and so on.

Start your search for a house very early, you can do it from the internet and when they invite you and you're not in Utrecht yet, you can ask them if it's oké to talk with them trough skipe.
