What is it like to live in México, D.F.? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Well i think that for most of the people in North America , Europe an part o Asia the weather could be a significant topic to consider , here it is fantastic, you can use your same clothes all year long, and no extreme temperatures. The museum offer is the biggest in the whole world , our cuisine have been designated by UNESCO as part of human heritage, for those people who comes from Europe and North America it is going to be very cheap considering the exchange rate of our coin!

What is the student lifestyle like in México, D.F.?

Maybe one or two cities in the world could pair to Mexico City university offer, for those who are in public colleges there are plenty of options and two maybe 4 of those are in the top rank in the world, places for party at cheap prices are plenty.

How much does it cost to live in México, D.F.?

It depends , like in any other part and important cities in the world theree are lot of places to live , expensive and cheap , it deends on your budget.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in México, D.F.? Is there any advice you can give?

The forst thing to check is the zone, if you find a very cheap place it is for sure not in a good , close or safe part of the city, start looking for those mid price places, where you can be well located and in a safe part of town , most of it for foreigns

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Wow , its a very hard question to answer without salivating and remeber the best dishes prepared by your mom or granma...
The food is outstanding even the places where foreigner could think is too cheap for beeing real. The best and most loved food here are tacos , there are several options but the ones "al pastor" are one of the most popular ones, and easy or regular... why because its normal meat not like others made of brain , stomach or other not regular stuff.

What places would you recommend visiting in México, D.F.?

Polanco , 2 major museums Soumaya , and Jumex , the restaurant offer is one of the best in city and everything is close, well comunicated , fancy, intercultural, cosmopolitan , and very safe. San angel buildings , restaurants and close to several places like coyoacan with frida Kalo's museum.

Is it good to eat out in México, D.F.? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Well I think that lovers of big steaks couldnt be in better place like this, even better than Argentina has to offer . you can find at least 7 places of outstanding steak restaurants that also offer dishes for not meat lovers , try "Rincon Argentino, Cambalache, Spuntino, Brassi, Puerto Madero" even more, Also for mexican food , "Maria Bonita" Casa del Pastor, Garabatos, Terraza Renault, Valkiria and Pujol , all of them are in Polanco and someones have also branches in important parts of the city

Is the nightlife good in México, D.F.? Where is good to go?

Even better than you think, avoid to be at Zona Rosa, thats and old place not what the city represents and what it really is, places like Roma, Condesa, Polanco , Interlomas ahve very good choices , also Polanco have one of the most intereting offers in the city with places like Joy in Antara Mall, if you want a pleaseant moment try Gin gin at Condesa , with excelent Gin drinks , prepared in your table, with non common tonic waters that you have ever seen or taste, excelent service , reservation is highly recomended

What advice would you give future students heading to México, D.F.?

First of all , the place where you staying is very important, the university or college is also highly recomended to search its wide options and campus. People here are very friendly , adn good ones , but be carefull with people extremely friendly or with hard to believe deals of apartments or roomies!
