The open-plan kitchen and living area is very bright and spacious, and comes with all the modern appliances. There are 2 bathrooms too, 1 of which is en-suite for the master bedroom. Each are new and spotless, and have shower cubicles.
A residential area in the south west of the city, Portuense, although well served by bus, is not connected to the centre by Metro. This makes it a much more peaceful, tourist-free area than much of Rome. If a more relaxed and peaceful pace of life is your speed, then this is the place for you. There's plenty of useful nearby shopping, and great local restaurants nearby.
