Although quite far out of the city, there is a bus that stops just a couple of minutes' walk away that can bring you to Bocconi University in 20 minutes. There is a pizzeria / bar near the house, and in less than 20 minutes you can walk to a large shopping mall, where you can find lots of shopping, including a Carrefour hypermarket.
