Landlords in Frankfurt need proof of identity and proof of income to make an informed decision about who will be living in their property. Your documents will be securely stored in our database and only be seen by the landlord, never other tenants.
Landlord policies
- Quiet Hours: To maintain a peaceful environment, no loud noises or disturbing behavior will be tolerated after 10 PM.
- Internet Usage: The tenant is responsible for proper internet use and will be held liable for any misuse.
- Insurance: The tenant is encouraged to obtain a household insurance policy. The tenant will be held responsible for any property damage incurred during their stay.
- Energy Consumption: Annual electricity consumption is limited to 1,000 kW. If this limit is exceeded, the tenant must pay the difference directly to the electricity provider or landlord.
- Repairs: The tenant is responsible for small repairs up to €150 per single case. A maximum of 8% of the annual rent may be spent on small repairs. Any repairs exceeding this amount will be handled by the landlord.
