Was passiert nach der Buchung auf Spotahome?
Wichtig: Nachdem deine Buchung auf Spotahome bestätigt wurde, musst du deine Reservierung noch einmal in unserem System finalisieren.
Es kommt folgendes auf dich zu:
1. Du erhältst per Mail einen Link zu unserer Website.
2. Auf unserer Website musst du nun noch einmal den Apartment-Typ auswählen, welches du dir auf Spotahome gesichert hast.
3. Danach erhältst du einen passwortgeschützten Zugang zu unserer Membership Area und kannst hier deine Immatrikulationsbescheinigung sowie die Kopie deines Personalausweises oder Reisepasses hochladen und den Vertrag bestätigen.
4. Anschließend prüfen wir deine Angaben und wenn alles passt, bekommst du eine automatische Mail mit der Zahlungsaufforderung der Kaution und unserer one-off Handling Fee (diese ist unabhängig von Zahlungen an Spotahome!)
5. Sobald keine Zahlungen mehr offen sind (innerhalb der nächsten 5 Werktage) und das Geld bei uns angekommen ist, schließen wir die Buchung final ab und du erhältst eine finale Bestätigungsemail.

What happens after your booking is completed on Spotahome?
Good to know: After your booking has been confirmed on Spotahome, you have to finalize your reservation in our system. The following steps have to be completed:
1. You will receive a link to our website by e-mail.
2. On our website, you have to select the apartment type you have booked on Spotahome.
3. As the next step, you will receive password-protected access to our Membership Area where you can upload your enrolment certificate, as well as a copy of your ID card or passport, and confirm the contract.
4. Afterward, we will check your details, and if everything fits you will receive an automatic e-mail with the payment request of the deposit and our one-off handling fee (this payment differs from payments to Spotahome!).
5. As soon as there are no more pending payments (within the next 5 business days) and we have received the money, we will finalize the booking and you will receive a final confirmation e-mail.

_Welche Mietvertragslaufzeiten sind verfügbar und was hat es mit der 1 Woche vorzeitigem Auszug zu tun?______Je nach Objekt kannst du zwischen Apartments mit mindestens 6 bis 12 Monaten Laufzeit wählen. Während dieser Mietzeit musst du dich jedoch immer im Studium befinden. Bitte beachte, die Rückgabe deines Apartments an uns erfolgt eine Woche vor dem Mietende, um aufgrund der Nutzung des Apartments und für eine direkte Anschlussvermietung erforderlichen Reinigungs-, Instandhaltungs- und Reparaturmaßnahmen vornehmen zu können. Wir haben die Miete auf der Basis einer um eine Woche verkürzten effektiven Laufzeit kalkuliert, so dass diese Regelung keinen wirtschaftlichen Nachteil für dich darstellt. Wenn du deinen Aufenthalt bei uns verlängerst und in deinem Apartment weiterhin wohnhaft bleibst, ist natürlich zwischen deinem alten und deinem neuen Mietvertrag kein vorheriger Auszug notwendig._
_What lease terms are available and what is the deal with the 1 week early move out?______Depending on the property, you can choose between apartments with a minimum lease term of 6 to 12 months. However, during this rental period you must always be studying. Please note, the return of your apartment to us is one week before the end of the rental period, in order to be able to carry out cleaning, maintenance and repair measures necessary due to the use of the apartment and for a direct follow-up rental. We have calculated the rent on the basis of an effective term shortened by one week, so that this regulation does not represent an economic disadvantage for you. In Mitte, you are close to the KulturBrauerei arts and entertainment complex, and near the Berlin Wall Memorial. This central neighbourhood has all the amenities you need, and all of them are a walk away. Restaurants are plentiful, and you’ll find lots of cafés and bars too. There are art galleries within a 10-minute walk, and you’re close to fresh-food and flea markets.
- Bernauer Straße U-Bahn station, on line U8, is a 3-minute walk away.
- Bernauer Straße bus (routes 247, M10, N8) and tram (line M10) stops are also 3 minutes away.
- Berlin Nordbahnhof S-Bahn station is 15 minutes away. It serves line S1 and others.

Landlords have a maximum of 24 hours to accept or reject your booking request. If the landlord accepts, you will be charged the first payment and we will put you in contact with your new landlord. If he/she refuses or does not reply, our team will provide you with new alternatives.
Move in
Confirm with the landlord your move-in date and the key collection date. For security reasons, Erasmusu will not send your payment to the landlord until 48 hours after your arrival, so you will have time to contact us if there is any problem.
