Proof of income
ID or Passport

Landlords in Berlin need proof of identity and proof of income to make an informed decision about who will be living in their property. Your documents will be securely stored in our database and only be seen by the landlord, never other tenants.

Landlord policies

  • Anmeldung / Registration is possible
  • Smoking: not allowed
  • Payment method: bank transfer
  • If the utility consumption exceeds the capamounts, the tenants will have to pay the extra costs
  • Admin fee : 265 - 298 euros according to property size (to be paid upon check.in)
  • GEZ (broadcasting fee) not included
  • Final cleaning fee 210€ / 240€ according to property size(payable upon check-in)
  • Monthly cleaning fee 45€ / 60€ according to property size (to be paid to the cleaning person)
  • If you move in with a pet (if allowed!) the end + monthly cleaning will aprox. 15% higher, according to the property size (please check with landlord)

Move in

Confirm with the landlord your move-in date and the key collection date. For security reasons, Erasmusu will not send your payment to the landlord until 48 hours after your arrival, so you will have time to contact us if there is any problem.
