Landlords in Berlin need proof of identity and proof of income to make an informed decision about who will be living in their property. Your documents will be securely stored in our database and only be seen by the landlord, never other tenants.
Landlord policies
Required documents/information, please attach to booking request if possible or hand in after sending the requests:
- Scanned ID
- Proof of income (3 last payslips) + working contract if you are employed + any kind of bank statement to proof ability to pay the deposit
- If you are self-employed: Tax return statement and client contracts (documents that proof ability to pay the rent)_Registration / Anmeldung possible
- Please tell us the reason you´re coming to Berlin if your working situation is outside of the country!
Additional info:
- Overnight guests permitted: occasionally / over weekends
- Payment method: bank transfer
- Standard stay: 6 months (possibility to extend to 12 months, needs to be clarified individually with the landlord - make your request!).
- Check-in/out:
- Check-in hours: 9:00 - 16:00 during week days
- Out of hours check-in: upon request, please check with LL
- Check-out cleaning fee: 120€- 200€ according to type of property (deducted from security deposit)
- Security deposit must be paid to landlord prior to move in
