What is it like to live in Würzburg? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Würzburg is full of young people, nice architecture and good bars/clubs. Also all around the city you can find a lot of woods and parks to relax with wine. There are a bit too much cops, but they don't bother you very often.

What is the student lifestyle like in Würzburg?

A quarter of all citizens are students, so its made for studying there.

How much does it cost to live in Würzburg?

A room can cost from 250 € to 400 € and for food you need around 80-120 €, depending on how you eat.

Parties are not so expensive. They are around 5-10 €, sometimes 20 € if it's a concert.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Würzburg? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes, it can be difficult but there is a large accommodation for Erasmus students. If you want to live somewhere else Gesucht is the right webpage. But be prepared to write to a lot of people.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It is very international. The fastest thing on the streets are kebabs, Asian noodle boxes or an "fleischkäsebrötchen" at your local bakery. There are also a lot of pizza restaurants and a vegetarian falafel bistro. Eating good German food in a restaurant can be kind of expensive.
