What is the student lifestyle like in Wageningen?

Very international city, the different associations/organizations organize a lot of international/cultural/sports events, but there isn't that much partying...

Would you recommend the city and the University of Wageningen to other students?

Yes, depends what you want... if you want sun and party probably it is not the right place

What is the food like?

Not that impressive, although the things I cooked were great!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Wageningen?

It costed time, but I found a great place.

How much does it cost to live in Wageningen?

I found something really cheap (under 250€).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I took an EILC in A'dam beforehand, that was good, there are also Dutch courses at the university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Wageningen from your city?

Train or bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Wageningen?

Organize a houseparty or go to a houseparty in Droef.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are the uiterwaarden, the rijn, the wageningse "berg".

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Wageningen in the future?

Get a sportscard (swimming, gym, fitness centre, everything included), start cooking your own food, get a room in Droef...
