What is it like to live in Venice? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

That's unique, as everyone knows. I recommend not only the touristic places because the real Venice deserves to be discovered.

What is the student lifestyle like in Venice?

It's very cool because you can go around into not common places. The knowledge about the city becomes much higher than a tourist.

How much does it cost to live in Venice?

That's very expensive, but if you know well the city, you can eat and have fun at a good price.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Venice? Is there any advice you can give?

It depends on the periods. Anyway, my advice is to check expecially on Social Networks.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Venice has some unique dishes called "cicheti", available in the "bacari", the venetian bar. Very good.

What places would you recommend visiting in Venice?

Except for San Marco and Rialto, Santa Maria della Salute is a must to see. But there is a huge quantity of monuments and beautiful churches. My advice is to read about the mistery of Venice and to go around to find those mysterious places. Unforgettable.

Is it good to eat out in Venice? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

The restaurant are very expensive, I recommend the "osterias" in general.

Is the nightlife good in Venice? Where is good to go?

It's very cool. You can find different kind of places. There are a lot of "bacari", pubs and there is the smallest disco in the world :)

It's not easy for a foreigner to find places who close very late because in general they close at 1 AM but I can show the other places.

What advice would you give future students heading to Venice?

How to go around and, above all, how to feel Venice in a real way because there is a difference between tourist and traveller :)
