The most important thing you have to do to have a complete Venice student lifestyle, is the happy hour with a spritz! After lessons and studies is important to join "bacari" to conclude the day with friends.

Venice is an expensive city, but if you know where to go to do the shopping you can contain costs. For example in alternative to the expensive Coop, you could go to Prix.

The rent of the apartments are expensive for little spaces, mostly to share... you have to be adaptable.

Venice is a port so the food is based on fish, but you're in Italy so you can find everything tipically: pasta alla carbonara, spaghetti solo scoglio, pizza and more.

What places would you recommend visiting in Venice?

I recommend to visit:

    Basilica di San Marco

    Punta della Dogana;

    Murano and Burano;

    Lido (in summer);

But every church and every building is wonderful and I think that each "calle" is a little typical element of a particular city that you will never found anywhere else.

Yes it is! You will always find people in Campo Santa Margherita and at happy hour to Bacareto da Lele.

You have to be organized when you have to move, but most important remember sneakers!
