Experience in Valletta, Malta by Stanislao

What is it like to live in Valletta? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I am not living in Valletta but in Sliema. It is really a lovely place,I raccomend it, the city is beatiful and near there a lot of interesting things to do and see especially between april to november.

What is the student lifestyle like in Valletta?

Paceville is very near, and it offers every night a lot of parties and social life is very easy

How much does it cost to live in Valletta?

I pay in Sliema, near to the sea, a nice room, 350 euro par months including bills.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Valletta? Is there any advice you can give?

Is quite difficult to find some place, but I raccomend to come maybe some months before and find something

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

In the supermarket you can buy the some products than in Italy. There are the typical products, pastizzi everywhere, they are very good and cheep

What places would you recommend visiting in Valletta?

all the beaches are lovely, and the island, comino and gozo really amazing

Is it good to eat out in Valletta? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I really did not find nothing special, the best for me was a place called cara's near to spinola bay, cheep and good, the alchool is very very cheep and various

Is the nightlife good in Valletta? Where is good to go?

very nice nightlife, a lot of events really

What advice would you give future students heading to Valletta?

try to meet maltese guys and go out with them , visit all the places the islan offer, and don't go only to paceville because there are a lot of special place for the night
