What is it like to live in Valletta? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Valletta is the capital of Malta. The centre of business and as well a big part of our cultural history.
What is the student lifestyle like in Valletta?
It's a wonderful place to be. It has a lot to offer mostly cultural.
How much does it cost to live in Valletta?
It depends. I would avoid going for expensive tourist traps and go for little grocers and shops. The prices differ trim-endlessly.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Valletta? Is there any advice you can give?
It's always difficult finding accommodation IN the city. I would recommend finding accommodation around it, for example, Msida, Floriana, Swatar, Hamrun or Pieta.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
As a typical Maltese, I would always go for pastizzi a cheap Maltese pastry which you can find in every corner of Malta.
What places would you recommend visiting in Valletta?
If you like Vegan and Green food with a vibe. I would go to GUGAR. It's a small bar at the end of Valletta.
Is it good to eat out in Valletta? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
It always depends on how much you want to spend. But it's always cheaper to cook your own food.
Is the nightlife good in Valletta? Where is good to go?
It's not bad. But only consists of bars. I would recommend going to Paceville in St. Julians there's a lot of nightlife,
What advice would you give future students heading to Valletta?
Don't be afraid to ask directions or speak to people. A lot of Maltese are friendly to foreigners.
