My best advice

Hi readers!

Today I went for a walk with my mother and I just realized that I completely forgot to tell you my best advice about Valencia. So, here it is: ride a bike. Ok, probably you are thinking "Is that your advice, your best advice? ". It is! I will explain why...

Firstly, the city is absolutely flat. It has a little bit of inclination if you go to the beach but that is logical, right? But it is flat. So, it is really comfortable to ride the bike because there are no hills or inclinations at all. Perfect!

Then, the city is building some new bike lanes so they are starting being connected to all the parts of the city by the lanes. That is awesome because you can ride across the city safely.

Moreover, we have the safest place to ride your bike that crosses the city over approximately 9 km: the old riverbed of the Turia's river. You can use it as the spine of the city or as a reference (that is why it is pretty easy to move into Valencia, too).

From there, you can take many lanes and ways to go everywhere: city center, parks, museums, beaches or shopping.

Finally, Valencia has an awesome weather almost all year round, so you can enjoy it with the bike whatever the season.

There are several companies that rent bikes in the city, you only need to go online and check, anyway, I will put some links here to make it easier for you:

So, that's my best advice: take the bike and enjoy the city with it because if you move around with the public transport you will miss many things, especially if you take the metro.

I hope this tip is useful for you and you take it to enjoy the city (I can even do you a tour if you want, I love to show my city specially by bike).
