Accomodation
Good afternoon my dear readers!
How is it going the week? As I planned I am going to talk about accomodation in Valencia. Valencia is an easy city to find a place to live, the thing is to find THE place, that place you like to live.
Would you like to find a place to live before arriving? It is not too hard. There are several ways to find it. Firstly, you can take a look in this page. People offer their accommodations for everybody with accessible prices. If you are a student you can find good prices between 175€ to 250€, sharing a flat, of course, with two or three more people. Moreover, the flats are near the campus of the main universities of the city.
Otherwise, if you prefer to see the flat in person when you arrive to Valencia you can go and book for a hostel in the city. There are some of them in the city for a good prices. You can go and book for five days, and while you are there you can go and look for some flats: in the campus you can find papers on the streetlights or the pannels of information inside the faculties where people offer a room or two because they look for someone who wants to share a flat with them.
So do not worry too much.
The areas where students live are some different neighborhoods but all of them are close to each other. One of the most wanted is, of course, the area of Blasco Ibáñez, where is located the campus with the same name and the half of the faculties of the University of Valencia. Another area is the Amistat neighborhood (streets as Cardenal Benlloch, Yecla, Bélgica, Ramón Campoamor... ). La Bega Baixa is on the opposite side of Blasco Ibáñez. Finally you have Cedro zone, called like that because of a square there is in this part, but actually is next to Amistat.
If you do not like to share a flat and if you prefer to live in a residence, there are some in Valencia, too, but it is more expensive than sharing a flat:
- Damià Bonet or RESA in Serpis Street.
- Galileo Galilei inside the Universitat Politécnica of Valencia
- Ausiàs March between both universities
So, with this information I hope you are less stressed to find a place to live in Valencia.
If you have any question about this, just let me know with your comment.

Hello! I wanted to know what do you think about student agencies that help students to find a place to leave? there are some ones in Valencia but we have to pay some fees, and I hesitate if to take an agency or if it's better to come at first, have a look and find a room in a shared flat on my own...Thank you

Hi @monika, I don't think is necessary to use an agency to find a place, you can look for a flat from here. Anyway, when are you going to come to Valencia?
