Experience in Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain by Adrianna

Generally, what is Polytechnic University of Valencia like?

It's a big complex of building. It's like student city, between buildings of University you have canteen, bookshop, pharmacy, paper shop etc. In UPV you have plenty of faculties.

What are the facilities like?

The faculties are in few tipes like engineering ETSIT, academy of art (Bellas Artes), etc. I'm in both of them.

What are the tutors like?

It depends about which course we talk about, but generally my tutors are really friendly, helpful, especially teachers from projects like "Taller de diseño", or "Diseño para ocio y hábitat".

Are the lessons easy in Polytechnic University of Valencia?

No. I mean if you know Spanish I think it's not so hard, but if you don't know the language it's a little bit hard.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

They organise some trips, especially for Erasmus. It's good because it's the most fun part of being Erasmus, and you can trust them; those are University's trips so they are safe.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

It's hard to assess. I think that UPV have a high level in computer 3D projects. This course going very quickly, for me it's the hardest course (maybe because I don't know Spanish, so it's my fault).

Are there any stories you can share?

I met a lot of people here, it's nice. I didn't expect that I'd met people from Poland and we would be great friends.
