Generally, what does the University of Naples Federico II look like?

It is a very old university with campuses scattered across the whole of Naples. I was in the Department of Steel Structures. Moreover, they were conducting outstanding research in the field of Structural Engineering.

Which facilities do this university have?

The university had a very huge collection of books in its libraries. During the lunch time, you can easily find something to eat, as there were many cafés around and some coffee machines were also installed on most floors. However, there was not really a computer room, especially in the architecture department.

How were the tutors?

The professors were very cooperative and hardworking. We usually had lecturers from other partner universities of the Master Programme. Also, I would like to mention that the English accent of the Italian professors was a bit hard to understand.

How were the lessons at the University of Naples Federico II?

For me, everything was bit new: so I found them a bit hard. But, the best part was the assignments where you can learn a lot. Professors were very cooperative with us while we were doing these assignments.

Does the university organise some activities? If so, which activities?

Yes, they organised lots of trips and Laboratory visits. A few seminars also took place concerning some advanced topics by well-known speakers.

Do you think that there is a good teaching quality?

Yes, everything was perfect: the methodology, the evaluation system, or even, the timetable, for instance.
