Generally, what is the University of Cyprus like?

It's like any average university of a small country, far away from Europe. few good books to read in the library, research is poor, the experience is absent. I don't find this university capable to compete for an average European.

What are the facilities like?

facilities vary depending on where your classes are [ you may be in the city centre, just outside the city (kallipoleos area) where the library is or in the new campus (Atlanta area) where the sports centre is ].

What are the tutors like?

Will put an average grade... We have good tutors and poor tutors at the same time. It's mostly a matter of luck.

Are the lessons easy in University of Cyprus?

It depends on what you call easy. a lesson is easy when you understand it and difficult if you have no idea of the field or if the tutor is bad. it's a combination of experience, willingness and luck.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

you will discover many activities, e. g. serious lectures, excursions, photography, sports, theatre, etc.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

I'm not happy at all. business administration is a poor subject in a country like Cyprus. I wouldn't recommend to anybody study business administration at this university. most professors just studied the subject, have no experience from real-life issues.

Are there any stories you can share?

I had an amazing time from student life but I'm very disappointed with my classes.
