Lourdes' Erasmus Experience in Turin, Italy
Why did you choose to go to Turin, Italy?
Because its university, the Politecnica di Torino, is the most prestigious in the whole of Italy.
Aside from the academics, it's a city that's full of history and it's location close to the Alps appealed to me as a lover of snowboarding and the outdoors.

It's a young city full of young people. There are things to do every single day and places where you can meet up with other Erasmus students, as well as the Italians that live there or come to study there.

How much does it cost to live in Turin?
It depends, first off, on how much you spend on accommodation and the bills that come with it. In general, however, rent can cost around 350€ a month, and then I'd say you could set aside 150€ a month for public transport, museums, meals out, nightlife, food, etc.

In terms of the language, I recommend that you meet up with Italians, or at least people who are not from your country, to learn more, and I especially recommend going to the classes that the university organises.
