What is it like to live in Turin? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Life in Torino has the flavour of home. It was popular as an industrial city because of Fiat, but it is not only this, it is full of history (just say it was the first capital of Italy) and things to do. I love Torino beacause it has a wonderful city center, beautiful monumets and buildings, but so close to the hill and the mountains.

Even if it is a quiet city (not stressing as Milan), it has many things and events happening in: it is the city of Italy that has the mayority of night life. People of Turin are a bit shy at the beginning and tend to stay with the same friends, in groups, they seem closed, but now that people are travelling a lot it is possible to find many open ones.

Student lifestyle, especially Erasmus is often very active, as I said before, Torino has a lot of night life. About the day, it is possible to visit a lot of nice places closed to Torino or just stay in the city.

It is italian food, but with savour and flavour a bit harder then the rest of Italy, because it is an alimentation for people living in a cold weather.
