Why did you choose to go to Turin, Italy?

wanted to discover this country and torino was the only italian city that my unniversity proposed.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

What is the student lifestyle like in Turin?

a lot of place to go, bar club parc
the erasmus association of turin organised a lot of events and by fb it was easy to be informed and met a lot of people, erasmus or italian.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Turin to other students?

of sure
it was the best year i passed in my life, so great meeting and a lot of cool experiences : party travel food languages the city, beautiful architecture and landscape with the mountains, if you can go there, i think you'll love it too

What is the food like?

italian food : delicious and cheeper than france
pasta pizza of course and a lot of other thinks, cake chocolate and drink that i let you discover ;)

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Turin?

i payed 400 by month for everything
nice collocation of 5 people near the politecnico, close to the center and quite big so, nice to invited people.

How much does it cost to live in Turin?

not so much

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

for me, after 6 months it was fine about comprehension and 2 other month for speaking good.
i came in italy without notion of italian, i didnt take courses, just spoke with people and i really think its the best way, if you have the chance to make you good italian friends !

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Turin from your city?

train

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Turin?

for a night : stay in turin ^^
for a day : bardonecchia, mountain city , milano, alba asti, wine city

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Turin?

there are a lot, you ll discover it by yourself

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

churchs, castles, superga, city of gastronomie like alba asti, a lot of museum in turin : egypte, sciences, cinema,
torino monument : la molle
just go :)

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Turin in the future?

you ll like italian people, there are so nice and warm
if you travel in italy you HAVE TO go in palermo in sicilia, the best city in italy for the culture, the see, the kindness of people there , in my point of view ;)
