Why did you choose to go to Turin, Italy?
Because I am part of a binational master degree with tge University of Torino, a university famous for its quality of education and research specially in the field of my studies
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
The scholarship is for one year.
The most important thing to know about Torino, is that it is a very affordable city compared to other European cities.
The rent cost varies from 200 to 400 Euro
What is the student lifestyle like in Turin?
Well, the city is a small and cosy.
The students zones are located in Vanchiglia and Politecnico.
The city itself was an industrial one, but with once Fiat usine was closed, the italian authority wanted to make Torino a universital city
Would you recommend the city and the University of Turin to other students?
The University of Torino is a good university, however, Torino is a small city, which make it boring as the time flies. There are not much entertainment for youth and students especially.
What is the food like?
To try: Apperitivo
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Turin?
If I ask for agencies help, it would had cost me a lot. But, most of exchange students do not know about associations without a lucrative goal that help students finding accomandation taking in account their budget and their preferences without fees.

There also many group in Facebook sharing accomandation offers, but, I advice to take the first path
How much does it cost to live in Turin?
I would say that it will cost around 600 to 800 euro/mouth
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, in the university of torino, there are many Italian classes designed to Erasmus student.
It depends of each person and his/her ability to learn a language.
But, if I talk about my own experience, I would say that understanding others is easier than comnunicate with it..
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Turin from your city?
The airplane
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Turin?
There are some bars and night clubs near Fiumo Po..
N.B: in italian, BAR= Coffee restaurant
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The Mole, museums, Palazzo Madama, Politechnico, Parco di Valentino , Superga, Monte di Cappuccini
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Turin in the future?
I don't recommend you to rent a place in Nizza, Porta Palazzo, Lingotto
I rather recommend in Vanchiglia, Garibaldi
