I was there 11 months and I received 350 euros each months.
What is the student lifestyle like in Trondheim?
You have classes during the morning and in the afternoon you can go out or do some trips with other students.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Trondheim to other students?
Yes, I love Trondheim.
What is the food like?
The food is very good there. You have to bring with you some food from here like jam and noodles.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Trondheim?
No, I lived in Moholt Student Village.
How much does it cost to live in Trondheim?
Norway, it is a very expensive place. So the money that I received from the university is only for the accommodation you have to pay your food and the bus, lots of things. You need a lot of money.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I choose English subjects, so I only learn English but you have courses to learn Norwegian.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Trondheim from your city?
The plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Trondheim?
To the city center, you have lots of discos there.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Trondheim?
Egon restaurant is very good, you have more than one, and you have a buffet there.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
You have a castle, the cathedral, the fish market, nice houses and bridges, you have museums...
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Trondheim in the future?
You need warm clothes because it is very cold there.
