Why did you choose to go to Trento, Italy?

Because I won Erasmus Mundus MULTIC full degree Scholarship for University of Trento.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Full degree, so 2 years in Trento as a usual student. 1000 euro per month, 22 months.

What is the student lifestyle like in Trento?

Trento is good for studying, calm city with good libraries and University rooms. The University itself is not very big so professors are quite available and easy to contact.

The environment is perfect for doing various sports. And it is just wonderful.

As for travelling, the location is not so good. Wherever you'll go (except Innsbruck, Munich direction), first you'll have to head to Verona.

As for parties, well, for me it is enough but I think for others not. Depends on your aims and goals to come in Trento. For studying - yes, parties - maybe no.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Trento to other students?

Yes, definitely.

What is the food like?

Typical Italian with meat meals.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Trento?

University helped with accomodation search, I live in a single room in Campus San Bartolomeo, it costs 290 euro per month.

It is possible to find something cheaper in the city, but not much and San Bartolomeo, as for me, is very comfortable place to live in.

How much does it cost to live in Trento?

I think 800 euro per month is enough. But to my mind it is more expensive than in other regions.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language courses are available. Italian is a great language, very melodic and very important for integration. Without it you'll end up only communicating with International students but will not really make Italian friends.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Trento from your city?

I am from Kazan, Russia. So there are flights to Verona, Milano, Venice and Bologna. Verona is the closest city and airport is small and good.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Trento?

During the study periods, there are also some events in Bookique and other bars. Also ESN organises something always.

Facebook will help you.
