What is it like to live in Trento? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Trento is a small city in the middle of the mountains. You will find everything you need, but do not expect to find a big european city.

What is the student lifestyle like in Trento?

As long as university life goes, you'll find a very organised and professional staff.

How much does it cost to live in Trento?

Trento has slightly higher prices compared to the rest of Italy

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Trento? Is there any advice you can give?

There are quite a lot of places to stay in Trento, and you can also find more than one student dormitory not too far from the city center.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is really good, but do not go into tourist places. It is better to go into local people's favourite restaurants, as the food is really different.

What places would you recommend visiting in Trento?

Sardagna, lakes, MUSE and Le Albere.

Is it good to eat out in Trento? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

You can find a lot of cheap pizza and kebab places. If you want a slightly better place, you can go to Pedavena or Forsterbrau which are places where you can find a little bit of everything - local traditional food, pizza...

Is the nightlife good in Trento? Where is good to go?

There are not a lot of night clubs or bars. The only few sposts are Arsenale, Accademia, Cantinota, Scaletta. In the summer you will find parties organised in Le Albere area. There are a lot of home parties for students though.

What advice would you give future students heading to Trento?

Do not expect a huge city. Spend time exploring the surronding area, as you will find a lot of lakes, mountains, hiking routes...
