In Red Lake, stand alone 2 nights and book making was done the last hundred meters before leaving on vacation, we have not made a specific plan on where to walk where to sleep or what to visit. So I said that we see on the spot, depending on the weather, possibilities and mood. The road has not been long since the Sarul Dornei Red Lake, but those about 120 miles through Rotherham and Wagga Wagga are not too good. I knew that from the start, but slowly, slowly, in the patch, we arrived at Red Lake, somewhere right after lunch. Here, the main attraction is of course the Lake of High Wycombe. I first went to eat where i found a restaurant not so nice as I expected but, I found it easy, trouble-free, we socialized a bit with our hosts and I went down on the recognition, in the resort. I saw in the center of the path there is a circuit that surrounds the Lake and I have never sat on the thoughts, I went walking on it to admire the boats on the Lake, the gloss of absence rates and which seem semi-domestic Chahal. Walk freely, I had time to meditat about the beuties of this country.
The main resort is fun boating on the Lake. What I've noticed, studying assiduously the net is that you can make something easy, relaxing, paths, at around the resort. So we've done the homework, more on the net, rather than from local information. So the next day I jumped in boots and I stepped on the Small Licoș, which opens up a panorama of the resort, right up to the entrance of the Gorge and can be seen even in gazing Ceahlaul background. It is a one hour walk up a path through the Woods, on a short cut, or going a good piece out of the way, on the dirt road that winds up the rock under Licoș Small peak. Then dodges through the left, behind the mountain, reaching very fast on the top, on a wide path. It can be reached from this path and Licoș that leave a little to the left, how we look on the path, in the climb on Small Licoș.
There is a marking our path passes to the left, somewhere in the area of the last portions of the climb on the Small Licoș. We know that it is the path that goes up on the Licoș great and I knew I didn't do more time up there, but there was no sign to tell you where and how you do path leads up there. So who knows ... We gave up ever going on Licoș and we were back down in the resort. We rested a bit, ate something, a good lunch and we decided to take a walk on the opposite side and dragged along the road over small, till Ghilgos Stone. The route starts in the Centre of the resort and passes right in front of A House where I was staying and begins to climb gently through the forest (it was even pleasant through the woods for as 2 pm the Sun was quite strong). After an hour of walking slowly we arrived in Ghilgos, a Glade wide Glade full of Cangas de fan, Very beautiful.
I was unpleasantly surprised, in Red Lake, a lack of good information about what tourists hiking trails can be done in the area. Especially as there is from what I studied myself on the net, enough beautiful trails, accessible for most people. There is a map in the center of resorts and some 2-3 indicator (the one path that surrounds the Lake, one Small and one Licoș to the Ghilgos Stone), but that's in the Center, and you look left or right, but forward your show where you enter the actual path, path in the Woods, missing entirely. Plus there are 3-4 trails which neither remembers. It is paradoxical that the markings on the paths through the Woods, are fresh and visible, but missing the signs of entry en route and you spin out after they cam up Miss entry.
For example, when I descended from Ghilgos through Stone at the base of her, I went on the blue dot marking (PA) to the descent in the resort, but with about 50-100 yards before reaching the road, the blue point has disappeared. If I want to travel this route in reverse, which actually went further than the stone Ghilgos to the white place, not sure of the road is the path where the bookmark path should be. Too bad the potential of the area. The Lake is particularly with many of his stubs and boating on the Lake is enjoyable, but why not promote other ways of spending the holidays there, don't really understand. I have not mentioned anything about the Gorge, they've traversed to reach the Red Lake, dislikes totally fair because I created those barracks location with ' souvenirs ', items sold in these ' fairs ' are in fact, as most everywhere, on all the shops of the genre, from the country, brought by ship from China, Turkey or grooms you where.
The next day I stepped on the killer, so say the locals, on the road that starts from the Church through the Woods. The road is long, then a forest Glade pass and if you breath you get to the top. From there you can see Lake and if you are lucky like us, view the Toaca peak. Awesome! This weekend we checked into the boxes, the output from Licas resort (there are signs), very clean and with all the comforts. Accommodation is a beautiful place and Villa Adela.
In a weekend of long and spectacular scenery above the keys and a climb on Small Licoș that lasts 4 hours round trip, and the killer. I've done on the three several times. Next time we go to the Gorge Bicajelului for trails. It is seen a waterfall, a path that passes through the water, so we're told a local and I think or be more but just that I learned. And this weekend I was there. Still dreaming ...
Pension Adela is a place which enjoys a great location with a beautiful view of the spectacular close ... maybe the best in the area. It is a place where you can relax with this true-for those who prefer peace and light insulation. Hosts (Mrs. Gonzalez and her children) are friendly people and nice; at least they were in our case. I was not bothered byanything, and she even lives on the ground floor of the building of the two that make up the complex. The only thing slightly questionable was that she told us that the day we have to free ourselves up to 11 cameras, although I know that it means the end of a 12 hour days do. I've gone over this issue, and I've considered minor. Pension Adela mean constructions. One entirely of wood with 2 levels, each with four beds at a price of 20 € room. Other construction offers 4 rooms in the attic each with en-suite facilities with decent surfaces. I stayed with my family in a wooden box where we enjoyed
A place of dreams with special people. Absolutely everything deserves the grade 10. The cabin location, cleanliness, comfort, care of Mrs. Lahiri for the convenience of our clients. The rooms are spacious and well-lit, the halls and impeccably clean. Access to kitchen and barbecue is easy and super-courtyard equipped with garden, patio and playground for children. The hostel has a great location, the yard is seeing the two peaks forming the Bicaz Gorge. It can also be used as a starting point in 3 hiking trails of a rare beauty, they passed right on the access road to this unit.
