Pasazhi shopping center

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about this place called Pasazhi shopping center and what a great place it is. Besides, getting there is pretty easy and comfortable if you are moving around the city by metro. That’s how I usually get there.

Well, this is a shopping place, as you might have already guessed. And it’s a great place for everything, I mean, there are all those different shops and you can buy many things there, including clothes, shoes, kitchenware, food, souvenirs, etc. And the prices are pretty reasonable comparing to those in large supermarkets.

How to get there

Of course, the first thing that you might want to know is how to get to Pasazhi. It’s not that difficult, because it’s like Rome, I mean, every road goes there. It’s called the Station Square and it’s a huge place, where you may find anything you want to buy.

There are always so many people there. Usually people get there by metro, and the metro lines cross each other there, too. There are two metro lines in Tbilisi, and if you want to get from one line to another you should come out of the train on Station Square and go to another line, because Station Square is the main place for almost everything. Besides, there are this train and bus stations, where people go and take transport to go to further places in the country, and that’s why there are always so many people there. Also, there is this agrarian bazaar and some other shops too. Everyone knows this place.

To be honest, you might actually get lost because of the amount of people. Sometimes you might even not see the road! However, if you ask around, everyone can tell you the directions.

So, if you are going there by metro, it’s the last stop from Saburtalo line and it’s kind of in the middle if you use the First line. When it announces the Station Square, you should come out of the train and go on an escalator.

There are two ways of going up and if you are going from Saburtalo line. You should go upstairs and opposite to the corridor to the First line (there's no sign above). And if you are going from the First line to Station Square, then you should take the stairs and go through the corridor to Saburtalo line and walk to the escalators. When you go up, then you should turn left and go upstairs. After that, you should turn 180 degrees and there you will see a one-floor building in orange and green. That’s Pasazhi!

What to buy in Pasazhi

There are many things that you can buy in Pasazhi. First of all, when you enter it, there are so many sunglasses, that are worth trying and they don’t cost much. There’s a big variety of them so who knows, maybe you like them.

Then there are toys and stuff for kids. I actually liked some of them, but it wasn't the moment to buy any for me.

Then there is a huge variety of perfumes and cosmetics. If you want to buy something like that, there's no need to go to other places, you will find gifts for yourself there!

My Home shop

Then it comes my favourite place, which is called My Home where there are lots of great things, that you can buy for your house, like stuff for the bathroom and the kitchen. My sister loves buying things for our house and that’s a great place to do it. Besides, the prices are pretty reasonable and they have those new, strange and beautiful things for home décor. There are always a lot of people there and the shop is not really large, so it gets really crowded.

Once it was this Ninooba holiday and it turned out this shop had a 20% discount that day, and that was great, because I wanted to buy some things and what can be more exciting than knowing there's a discount in that shop that day! To be honest I didn't know there was a discount until I got to the cashier.

So I took so many things that I liked. There were these cute cups for coffee and tea, and I took a tall one with the Starbucks sign on it. I love that cup. There was this beautiful whisking coloured thing too, which I had wanted to buy for a long time.

It's just really hard to get out of that shop without anything bought. Well, at least, it's pretty hard for me. So if you happen to be in Pasazhi shopping center, don't forget to have a look at this shop and you won't be disappointed, I promise.

Baking stuff

Then there are these cake stuff and ingredients and some cookies and stuff like that. My sister usually buys there some tarts or cooked biscuits for cakes. They have great biscuits for Snickers cake, which I love. Everyone says this cake is great, but if you don’t like sweet flavors, this one is not for you.

It's a great idea to buy the biscuits there and then decorate them yourself if you are not in the mood of cooking or you don't have enough time. The smallest one only costs 5 laris, and there are some bigger ones which cost 10 laris.

There are also other things, such as souvenirs, wine and churchkhelas if you want to take some for your friends. They are not very expensive, but if you buy them in those large supermarkets, they will cost you double.

Kitchenware

There's this other shop where you can buy some beautiful glasses and mugs. There are lots of stuff if you want to get a gift for someone, but the prices may not be cheap. However, in my opinion, they are worth the money.

Medical stuff

If you are a medical student or need something medical, like uniforms or shoes, you can find them in Pasazhi too. The prices are not very expensive. Medical staff usually buy those things there, however, most of the hospitals have their uniforms specially sewed for their staff.

Shoes shop

There are many other shops. For instance, there is this shoes’ shop, where I have bought some of my shoes and they are pretty good. They have some discounts on really good shoes, and usually I can't resist them. The shop is nearby the sign which says "Sports 147”.

Clothes

There are so many different kinds of clothes, and although some of them may be very expensive, they are pretty good. There are some pretty fashionable clothes in Pasazhi (I even looked for my prom dress there).

Household items

Finally, there is a shop which I recently found out about, where you can find glasses, kitchenware and pretty good electric things. There are also containers and buckets for laundry, stuff to place near the sink and shelves. They also have some bathroom stuff and curtains, for example, they have a pretty large lovely toilet cover with a picture of Coliseum of Rome.

Besides, they have mugs, thermo cups and things for decoration, and so many other things I can't even remember. The prices are fine too. The only problem was that the cashiers didn't really know English but they tried their best.
