Flight day. part 2. Getting back to Tbilisi

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

This is another article, where I want to continue the story about my flightand the last day of my winter holidays in Georgia.

Flight day. part 2. Getting back to Tbilisi

Getting back to Tbilisi

Getting home we knew, that we had some pineapple left and since we all liked this  pineapple we all ate it and then we started packing. Well, I had almost everything ready and decided which things I would take with me and they just needed some folding and stuff like that, which my mother did then, while I was chatting with my friends on Facebook. To be honest, I was pretty satisfied that I was taking so many chocolates with me in  Germany.

Well, I had to be at the airport at 4 a.m. And until then I could sleep or rest or whatever,  because then I would have to wait for my flight in Istanbul airport and then fly to Germany and then travel to Freiburg by bus, so that it would be a long journey and sleeping could really help, however I didn't feel like sleeping at all, of course. Well, I tried to, but I couldn't and others felt like sleeping, too, but since I wasn't asleep, they couldn't really sleep either, you know.

There was this other thing,  too, I just heard about this Kura-kura and those jelly things or something like that and I really wanted to have them, however,  it was already very late and there wouldn't be any of those shops open to buy those things. However, my sister knew some place where they might actually be sold at midnight,  so  my brother went in there and they had some of those things. Although they were not exactly what we wanted, but it would work, so that he bought me two of them and came home. I was kind of asleep when he got home, however,  I heard when they were talking about those things and I understood that he had bought them and I wanted to see them, so that my sister came into the room and showed me those things, one of them was yellow and the other one was pink and they were kind of cute at first sight, however, they were like jellies and stuff like that.

You know,  they have become very popular in Tbilisi these days and you can find many of them everywhere in the city and that's pretty shocking, if you ask me. Everyone just buys them. Well, the prices range from 50 Tetris to above, of course, it all depends on which one you buy, however, some of them can be pretty expensive, too, comparing to its function and things like that. Well,  we had some fun with those things and soon the time came that I had to change my clothes and go to the airport. Everyone was kind of ready except for my brother, who was asleep and couldn't be awaken that easily. However, sooner or later he woke up and got up and got ready. I was in a hurry, because I didn't want to be late, however, there was plenty of time left until our flight, if you want to know the truth. Though, it was still something to be worried about, because it was snowing in Istanbul and some flights were delayed and some canceled and we could get stuck there,of course. And I didn't need that, because I had a bus seat  reserved for me in Munich airport.

You know, I didn't really realise that I could get stuck in the airport somewhere,  because I thought, that the weather wasn't that bad, however, it seemed like everything was  that bad and there were already some flights delayed and even canceled and stuff like that. It was a probability, that I could get stuck somewhere,  too. Well, to tell you the truth,  i was not traveling alone, so that i was not too scared about that, I guess. so, we got from Tbilisi international airport to the Istanbul Gokcen airport, from where we would fly to Munich. And it was in Istanbul that the snow was coming and coming and they could not make some flights. it was our flight, that got a little bit delayed, too, if you want to know the truth. However, it was not that bad, because it was only half an hour delayed or something like that, comparing to those flights, which got canceled and the passengers got stuck  in Turkey. At least, we got out of there and could it be some time late, it didn't really matter, if you ask me.

Anyways, it was all snowing and stuff in Turkey and,  well, i hadn't seen snow in Georgia, because it didn't snow there while me being there, so that i could see the snow in Turkey. It was really beautiful there outside and I could watch the horizon from the airport and enjoy the fascinating landscape. You know, watching snowflakes falling down is a wonderful thingand, i guess, everyone loves that process. Well, at least, I do.
