Black Friday in East Point

The introduction

Hello everyone, I guess, that you are all doing just fine!

Now I want to tell you about Black Friday and what it was like to have a Black Friday in Georgia. Well, you know, Black Friday is mostly a Black Friday in the United States, where there’s this Thanksgiving and there’s this Black Friday and there are all 50% sales in stores and supermarkets and stuff like that and everyone’s waiting for it and people just get in like from the day before or whatsoever just to get those sales and to get those things, which are on sale and it’s always so crowded around and people just get on each other and they push each other and no one recognizes each other during that time, I guess, because all they want is to get those things that they want and need and everything, you know. it’s just a huge mess, if you want to know the truth and it’s just crazy that time.

You know, there’s this series, called “The Middle”. You’ve probably watched it or maybe heard of it. I really like watching those series, because it’s funny and it’s like a typical family situation and I just love watching it. So, there was this episode, where there’s Thanksgiving coming up and there’s this Black Friday coming up, too, and the mother wants to go and get many things on sale that day and everything’s a huge mess and they have all these sections for each of them and they go there to get those things until someone else gets them, so that they can have those things for themselves. I guess, that’s how I got to know what really happens on Black Friday there. It was really a good episode and, I guess, they had some similar ones the other years, too, I mean, they had Thanksgiving episodes every year, I guess, because every year people celebrate Thanksgiving and when it’s time, the series have those episodes, too, of course, so that it can be more realistic, I guess, and closer to real lives.

Black Friday in East Point

Anyways, there was this Black Friday in East Point and there was this announcement on Facebook, I mean, there was this event and it popped up and I saw it and that’s how I knew, that there would be Black Friday in East Point. Well, at first, we didn’t really know which shops would have those big sales, I mean, there are usually 50% sales on Black Friday as I know, however, here you won’t get anything like that, so that those shops offered some kind of 20% sales or something like that, though that would be okay, too, I guess. However, the announcements were made later and some other shops announced sales later, too. It was still good, that all those shops had some sales, I guess. There were so many people from the very morning there. Well, there are many people there most of the time or even always, or when I go there, because there are so many cars parked and there are people all over and stuff like that, you know. Well, there are many things together in East Point and that’s why there are always so many people, and there are some other new shops and markets opening there every time and there are even more to be opened, so that there will be everything in one place and you can just go there and shop for whatever you want, because all that you want will be in one place. That’s just really great, if you ask me, and I guess, everyone will agree with me. And, besides, there are different entertainment places and eating places there and there’s movies _ Cavea IMAX and kids’ placeand everything and it’s just really simple and awesome for people to go there for anything.

Black Friday in Carrefour

So, I knew, that there were some big sales in Carrefour supermarket in East Point, because they had it announced on their Facebook page and I always check their page just to see what they are offering us. So that, they had up to 80% sales on technique and stuff like that, not to mention about Christmas and New Year decorations and things like that, so that it was good to visit Carrefour, if you want to know the truth. So that I went there and looked at everything and there were many things worth buying, however, I didn’t really need any of those technique right then, and, well, I moved on to the Christmas and New Year stuff, where there were so many decorations, that I was confused which one to buy or which one I liked more, because every one of them were different from each other and it was impossible, I guess, to choose something between them. However, there was this bouquet or something like that, the small one, it was dark pink or reddish or whatever and it kind of glittered, too, and I really liked it for my vase that I had bought some time ago and didn’t know, what kind of flower to put there into it. it was a red vase and I thought, that this thing would fit there just exactly and, that it would be great with the vase, so that I bought this one and then looked for other things to buy. They had some other cool things, of course, however, I was on foot and couldn’t carry much stuff, so that I decided to visit some other shops and supermarkets and then decide, whether I could buy some other things that I could carry with me or not. Besides, it was really freezing outside, so that it was no fun carrying some things with you in that weather.

Black Friday in Domino

Well then I went to Domino supermarket. This is mainly a supermarket for building materials and stuff like that, if you want to know the truth. However, there you will find some other things, too, for example, toys, rags, furniture, flowers, decorations, etc. And now they had all these amazing Christmas and New Year Santa Clauses and toys and decorations and there was this some kind of mini land of those Christmas and New Year stuff and there were large Santa Clauses singing and dancing and everything was just really cool, if you want to know the truth. I really enjoyed walking there, though I was really looking at those toys and decorations to buy, however, then I moved on to the flowers and while looking at them with amazement, I noticed, that they had this sale on orchids and when they usually cost pretty much, now they had this 50% sale or something like that and I wondered, what if I took one of them. Then I noticed something about their leaves and stuff and wondered what was the difference, so that I asked for help and someone went to me to explain things about the flowers. It was really a good idea to buy one of them, because it was my aunt’s birthday that day, if you want to know the truth, and she always wanted to have some orchids at home, however, she couldn’t really decide which one to buy or something like that, I guess. So that, I could buy an orchid for her as a gift. I asked that lady about those orchids and she told me that they didn’t liked to be on a direct sunlight and they should be in a warm place. They also need to be watered once in a week or 10 days. You get some warm water and put this whole thing in it, so that its 75 or 80% is in the water, leave it like that for 20 or 30 minutes and then take it out. That’s the watering. And the water shouldn’t get into the middle of those leaves and stuff. When it was all clear, I chose one of the orchids. You know, they were all different and stuff, so that I had a pretty hard time choosing one of them. Then, when leaving for cashier, I found a pink one there, somebody had left it there, because they changed their minds and didn’t want to buy that one, though I liked that one better, I couldn’t exchange mine for it, so that I bought my chosen one.

There were also these Dutch tulip bulbs from the Netherlands and they were on sale, too, and I wanted to buy them, however, I changed my mind, because the shape was the same that I bought in the Netherlands and it was just these Dutch shoes or whatever and there were bulbs put in them and they were really beautiful, but after some time of thinking, I decided not to buy them at that time. Probably next time I will buy them, they looked pretty fine, if you want to know the truth.

Black Friday in technique shops in East Point

Well, of course, I looked at some other stuff there, too, there were some other flowers on sale and many of them were really beautiful, however, you couldn’t really buy all of them, you know. that was when I decided to go to other shops and see what they had there. And I especially wanted to see some convection ovens, because I have been wanting one for quite some time now and I would really like to see what those shops were offering about those convection ovens. As I’ve heard, they have become pretty popular these days and many people buy them and they are really satisfied. One of my friends has it and she has bought it some time ago, just recently and she says, that it’s really good for preparing dishes and that it can do many things and it’s just way easier to prepare dishes with that convection oven. I have googled it and watched some videos about them and everything and, I guess, if what they are showing us is right, then it’s just some awesome thing for me and I just want to have one in my kitchen, because I usually prepare some dishes and it would really help me a lot to have a great convection oven with those capabilities, that it should have. You know, it can cook really quickly and without any oil and it can make that steak or whatever really juicy inside, but very-well cooked as a whole. It can even prepare frozen stuff right away, so that you don’t need to unfroze them until you prepare them. So, I guess, that’s something worth trying, besides, many people have tried it and they say, that it’s pretty great.

Well, I saw some convection ovens in some shops. There was this one in Megateknika shop and it was ILITEK 5011 and it cost 109 Laris and it had cake baking shape, too, in advance, so that it was a pretty good offering, however, when I looked at it, it was pretty large for me to carry it from there at that time, so that I just remembered this one and thought that if I didn’t find another one which was better or something like that, I would come back and buy it after some time, maybe, because there are many other convection ovens in other markets, too, and you need to decide which one to choose after some diggings and readings and asking around and everything, you know.

There were some convection ovens in Metromart, too, however, they were more expensive, than the one that I saw in another shop, and the models were the same, if you want to know the truth. So that I just looked at those convection ovens and went out, because if I was to buy one of them, then I would definitely buy that one that I saw in Megateknika, which was pretty good one, if you ask me, however, I decided not to buy any convecton oven that time, because, first of all, I couldn’t carry it on my own to my apartment, and, secondly, I could find some other convection ovens in other shops, which could be better than those ones, I guess. So that I could wait a little longer to buy some good convection oven.

Well, to be honest, there are some sale websites, where they have those sales on stuff if you buy a coupon or something like that and there you can find many different convection ovens. I have searched some of those websites and I found some good convection ovens there, however, it’s always better to see it yourself, when you are buying that kind of stuff, so that I thought, that there would be some places, where you could see the convection ovens yourself and decide which one to buy. So that, this other day, I decided to visit a shop next to Varketili metro station. There’s this shop, where they sell some kitchen stuff and cups and glasses and pans and saucepans and everything and I wanted a double dough roller, however they didn’t have one. And then I noticed five or six convection ovens in the corner and I didn’t really expect them to have those convection ovens, so that I looked at them and the prices and everything was just great, I mean, the prices were reasonable and those convection ovens looked pretty good, too, however, I didn’t ask anything to the sellers, because I decided to come back another time and with money and choose one of them wisely and buy it.

Anyways, this Black Friday in East Point was not really a Black Friday, I guess, because there were not that kind of big sales, as it was supposed to be. I guess, Carrefour had some important sales and Domino, too. There were sales in some brand shops, too, however, I was kind of tired and, I guess, they wouldn’t have that much of sales, so that I looked at some of them and didn’t really find much sales, so that I left the place and decided to go home. It was really freezing and I didn’t really want to catch a minibus, because it wouldn’t get to my apartment or somewhere nearby and I would have to go to metro station and then catch another minibus to my home, so I decided to take a bus, which goes to my home, however, the bus station was kind of further and I didn’t know when it would come, so that I had to wait for it. well, I still decided, that waiting for that bus was a better idea and I went to the bus station. I knew, where one of them was, however, I knew that another one was kind of further, too, however it had this monitor, where there were written the time schedules and I would know, when the bus would be there, so that I walked to that bus station, but in vain. Finally, when I arrived there, I found out, that there was no monitor anymore and I had to stand there wondering when the bus would come. I probably waited for it for 15 minutesor so and finally it came and I went in with my orchid in my hands and I took the ticket and sat on the chair. In a three stations or so I would be at home and it was a pretty good feeling.
