Baking and birthday shop in Pasazhi shopping center

The introduction

Hello people, I hope that you are all doing fine!

This is another article about a place where my sister usually goes to buy many things and where she just likes to go, I guess.

Well, this place called Pasazhi is really good if you want to prepare something like cakes or things like that and you don't want to go to other places separately looking for different ingredients and things, you know. I learned about this place from my aunt, because she goes there to buy things for her cakes, I mean, she is really great at baking cakes and she bakes them a lot and, whenever she needs some ingredients she buys them there. It's like a place full of everything you need for baking cakes and not only cakes. There are things for pizzas and cookies and, well, to be honest, everything for baking. And the prices are pretty reasonable and you can pay with your credit card too, and that's what I like about this shop, too. There you can also find another section, where they have all these birthday party things and also things for parties in general, so that if you need anything for any party you can go there and buy those for a very good price. And there are always many people there, especially before the holidays, of course.

This is a shop, that I like is for birthday party things and baking and everything like that. You know, you can get there and buy everything that you want and need for your cakes or baking or for a birthday party or a party or something like that. They don’t have everything, however, they have many things and sometimes it’s really hard to get out of that shop, because there are so many things and you just want to have all of them, I guess, and being there looking at all that stuff, you are just thinking, what if you need any of those thingsand you won’t have them at home, so that you have to buy that thing, right?! So that’s why it’s really hard to get out of that shop without buying anything. And those things are all shiny and stuff like that and when it’s shiny it’s really asking you to buy them, you know. You can pay there with your card and that even makes everything much more easier and that’s one of other reasons why I love going to that shop. And I wish they had those biscuits sold there, too, for cakes and tart shapes and everything, because that way, I would just buy everything there comfortably and without going somewhere else.

Well, one of the reasons why I go to that shop is to buy those chocolate chips, that people use in baking and decorating the cakes and in chocolate chip cookies, which everyone loves so much, I think, and it’s just great, that they have those chocolate chips there, because I’ve asked around and it seemed nowhere else to be found, or, at least they were not in those supermarkets, where I asked about them. And even if there were, they would cost a lot more, than those ones cost and they would be just the same, if you want to know the truth. I should tell you, that they have those chocolate chips packed in100 gram packages and they cost 1. 50 lariseach, so that it’s a great price for them, I guess, and I usually buy one or two of them and then when I am out of them, I go to them again and buy some more, of course.

They also have some great cocoa powder and they have dark and red ones, and they cost 2 laris if I remember correctly and they have some real cocoa smell and taste and that’s why you should buy the cocoa powder there, if you ask me. They also have some chocolate bars, that people use in baking and stuff, I mean, they melt those bars or shred them or whatever and I like their green chocolate bar, however, I don’t know what it is or what it tastes like, it’s just really beautiful when you look at it. They also had some round chocolate chips, I mean, they were like 2 centimetres in diameter, I guess, and I used to buy them to melt them and use them in my cooking as they were easier to melt than those large chocolate bars, you know, however, they don’t have them anymore and I have to buy them in other places, you know. And I had to look for them for quite some time, because anywhere I went, they just didn’t have any of them and I was kind of surprised, because I thought that they would be pretty common around here. Well, then after some time, I found them and they were even better than the ones that I used to buy, because those had more of a butter taste, than the actual chocolate and I had to add more and more cocoa powder, so that it would have this chocolate taste and not the butter. And then, when I found these other ones in other place, they tasted pretty good and they had this great taste of chocolate, so that I didn’t have to add any cocoa powder to them and they melted just great, if you want to know the truth. And they cost somewhere about 8 laris a kilogramme, I guess. Well, I haven’t bought them for quite some time now, because I had some of them left.

Well, anyways, I also buy some shredded coconut, I mean, the coconut flakes, which are dried out and which are used in baking stuff and things like that, and they have those coconut flakes in packs and they cost 3 laris or less and they are pretty good. And I also buy some essences there, I haven’t seen any vanilla essence in that shop, however, I buy some rum essence for Tiramisu preparation and almond essence for almond cookies and they also have some chocolate essence, which I’m very interested in, but I haven’t bought it and, well, they have lots of other essences, which just cost 2 laris each and they are in these small cute bottles. They also have those things, that you add to a cream or whipping cream or whatever and they give you some different colours, I mean, they have those powders of fruits and other things and I’ve bought some of them and tried them and they were really great in cream fillings. You just have to dissolve them in a small amount of water and then add them to whatever you want. I had cream fillings made from them and they were all different in colours and I had these tart forms, so that all those things were in red or orange or green or blue and I just really loved them, you know.

Anyways, I can’t stop telling you about this shop, though the article is getting a little larger, I guess. Well, you should also know, that there are all those ingredients, that you might be needing in your cooking, I mean, they have variety of nuts and powders and spices and baking forms and silicon forms and rolling sticks and cutting forms and pizza slicers and cutters and everything. They have all those whipping cream powders and there’s where I bought some Tiramisu whipping cream powder and it was a large package and I thought, that it would cost a fortune, however, then they told me, that they were selling it in grams and 100 grams was 1 lari or something like that, so that I just bought this 100 grams just to taste it and see whether I would like it or not, and, to be honest, it was not that bad, I mean, it had more of a cocoa taste, than the actual Tiramisu, but that’s maybe because I didn’t prepare it as a whipping cream, I just used it in my cheesecake trifle as a powder between the layers and maybe if I had prepared it as a whipping cream, then it might have that Tiramisu taste, I don’t know, though this lady was telling me that it would have some cocoa taste and maybe even some Tiramisu taste, so that I think, I was not wrong about it having more of a cocoa taste, you know.

Well, there are also these cute cupcake papers with all those different sizes and colours and they have all those different coloured sprinkles and they are really great decorations for cakes and stuff like that, they also have marzipan or cake frosting or whatever they are called and I really love them, I mean, I can eat them just like that and my sister loves them, too.

They also have many figures made from that marzipan or egg whites and those figures are used to decorate the cakes, I mean, mostly they are for birthday cakes, I guess, and those figures are just great, I mean, they cost from 2 laris to 10 laris, I guess, and it all depends on size and the difficultness of the preparation of the figure, I guess, and they are beautiful, I must say. Well, there are also different types of candles and birthday party things and fireworks and everything, that you will like and the balloons and hats and things like that and the prices are pretty reasonable, so if you have a birthday party to plan, you can go to that shop and buy everything that you need for the party there. That’s just really comfortable comparing to going here and there for all those party things and, besides, as I’ve already mentioned, buying those kind of things in the supermarkets cost a lot more and they are just the same. It’s just that they are packed and have a brand name or something like that, while these things are not.
