Experience in Tarragona, Spain by Paula

What do you think about living in Tarragona? Do you recommend it? What is it like?

Living in Tarragona is good as there is good climate and beaches.

How is the student atmosphere in Tarragona?

It's a bit weird. There are many students from different towns and they don't normally live in the city, so there isn't so much party in the city.

How much does it cost to live in Tarragona?

Not so much. It's much more cheaper than Barcelona.

Was it difficult to find accommodation in Tarragona? Can you give any piece of advice?

I don't know the prices for accommodation in Tarragona as I haven't got any flat there.

What about national food? What are your favourite dishes?

Very good! Mediterranean food, totally! There are many excellent 'tapas' as well as food.

What places do you recommend to visit in Tarragona?

The beach, 'La Rambla', the parks and, above all, the different towns and cities around it.

And for eating in Tarragona? Can you mention your favourite places?

My favourite places for eating are 'El Serrallo', a fishers' neighbourhood where you can eat very good fish, and the bars in the Cathedral Square which are small, intimate, and everything is delicious!

What places do you recommend for nightlife in Tarragona?

Around the area where the casino is, there are different pubs and bars such as 'Otto Zutz'. I highly recommend to go partying to Salou.
