Why did you choose to go to Tampere, Finland?

Because I wanted to live the finnish way of life.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I don't know anything about the rents. I lived in the school dormitory and it was really cheap €60 per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Tampere?

There are a lot options for students, in my opion I guess Tampere is the best for students. If you find out the places which you like, welcome to finnish way of life.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Tampere to other students?

Yes, of course!

What is the food like?

Food was really good, espically pizza!

How much does it cost to live in Tampere?

I lived there 4 months and I spent (I traveled a lot, I ate really good food, I had a really good night life, etc.. soo i had a really good life) €3, 000.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I don't really know about it, but my tutor had a class in Japanese.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Tampere from your city?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Tampere?

If you want to drink coffee with good music you should go to Café Europa, and for night life there are a lot of options: Fat Lady, Ruma, Kuuba or Yo-talo.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Tampere?

It is definitely Viikinkiravintola Harald. Maybe it is little bit expensive but you should go and try their icecream.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Tampere in the future?

Just do it, you will never regret.
