Why did you choose to go to Tallinn, Estonia?

I wanted to discover the Northern countries in Europe, and this was the most northern place that I could choose.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

6 months, I received 230 each month, but I had to pay 300euro for the rent, so it's not so much compared to Erasmus's scholarship of other foreign students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Tallinn to other students?

well..actually from my point of view Tallinn is very nice if you are a tourist, but for young people, I think that's quite boring after some months.

What is the food like?

Just tried it a couple of time and it wasn't so special! Anyway, I'm Italian, so I'll never find better food than the Italian one, definitely.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Tallinn?

Quite a lot for a shared room(300euro) but the flat is in Old town!

How much does it cost to live in Tallinn?

It's not so cheap as I imagined before to come here. However, definitely less compared to other capital cities.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I just followed courses in English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Tallinn from your city?

by airplane

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Tallinn?

It depends on the night/Djs because maybe the place is cool but the music sucks!

In old town: Kodu, Nimeta, Shimu, Hollywood (depend on the night), labor, shooters.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Tallinn?

The Drakon's tavern in the old town square, a cheap and special place!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The Old town is very small but pretty nice! I suggest you to visit also Tartu, the second "biggest city" in Estonia that's very nice too!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Tallinn in the future?

Find accommodation next to the old town but outside from ancient walls because is cheaper than inside!
