Why did you choose to go to Tallinn, Estonia?
I choose it because it was an unsual Erasmus destination but mostly because it was the cheapest country among the nordic ones.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I receive 380 € per month for 6 months.
What is the student lifestyle like in Tallinn?
Student life it's really international, everyone speak english.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Tallinn to other students?
Yes, because the teaching method is good.
What is the food like?
Sucks normally. But it really depend where do you eat.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Tallinn?
No, it's quite easy to find an accomodation,
How much does it cost to live in Tallinn?
Up to 500 € per month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There are estonian courses in every university. But it's quite impossible to learn and not really required: everyone speak english.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Tallinn from your city?
Ryanair Milano-Bergamo to Tallinn.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Tallinn?
Erasmus places are. Mostly red or Emperor on monday and Mynt Club on wednesday.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Tallinn?
Pancake house and every restaurant in Teleskyvi.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Raekoja plats, Kadriorg Palace, Toompea, Alejandro Nevski's Cathedral... For more, look for ESN web or facebook pages.
