Best Meringue Cake in the world at Café Komeet
For those who have sweet tooth and have no idea where to go for coffee in Tallinn, I would recommend this elegant café Komeet in the city centre with a magical view with the Old Town.
This year during my trip to Tallinn I wanted to try more new flavours and new things as well as see not those crowded places full of tourist and rated 5 stars on trip advisor, but something more unique and extraordinary. Therefore I followed my friend's recommendation, who is local and real Estonian with a more cosmopolitan attitude. I asked her ‘’what is your favourite place? Take me there. ‘’ She smiled and replied ‘’I think you may like Komeet. But we will feel guilty afterwards.’’ I was so happy to hear that, thus we went to her favourite place. According to her, this is the best place for a cup of coffee and a pieceof meringue cake (or a vegan cake, as they have plant-based options as well).
As I entered this café I was impressed with the design, blue-yellow colours and the style, which made it even more luxurious. Caramel raspberry meringue cake or chocolate "Valhrona"? That moment when you can't decide...at the end, we were enjoying our evening with chai and the best meringue cake admiring the starry evening from the winddown of "Komeet", where we found our falling star.
You can find this place on the fourth floor of the Solaris Shopping Centre in Tallinn. Despite the price, the value of the product if worth it, as the quality is more than excellent. You can find more on the Komeet webpage.
