Why did you choose to go to Stuttgart, Germany?
I study ichthyosaurs, they have a good collection of them.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Half year and 275 euros a month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Stuttgart?
From what I have seen, a lot of people take dual study here, so they are here 3 months on and off, making the start of a real student life difficult.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Stuttgart to other students?
I don't know about the uni because I work in the museum, the city is nothing special but good.
What is the food like?
European.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Stuttgart?
No.
How much does it cost to live in Stuttgart?
It depends a bit on where you rent, but it is possible to live on 600 euros a month, I think.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Again, I don't know about the uni, in the museum everyone speaks English.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Stuttgart from your city?
Taking the train is easiest way to come, I think Flix bus would be cheaper, but way more difficult.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Stuttgart?
I have no clue.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Stuttgart?
I haven't been out too much, the centre has some good spots.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Naturkunde museum, Landes museum, Kunst museum are all excellent as well as the Schlossgarten in general.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Stuttgart in the future?
Again, I don't know, because I am not in the university.
