Why did you choose to go to Stuttgart, Germany?
I chose Stuttgart because I wanted both to learn some German and to study in one of the most qualified university in the engineering field.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
The scolarship lasts for maximum 10 months and you will receive 250 per month by the UE.
What is the student lifestyle like in Stuttgart?
The student lifestyle is as you want it to be: there are opportunities for everybody. And there are a lot of students events and excursion, but also discos, pubs as well.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Stuttgart to other students?
Absolutely, do not miss this opportunity.
What is the food like?
Coming from Italy I can say that the food culture is a little less considered, but you can find anyway something you like.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Stuttgart?
This is the most painful point: find an accomodation is not easy. You have to start the reasearch some months before coming here. I suggest to ask for an accomodation on the student association Studierendenwerk Stuttgart, compile the request and wait in the line.
How much does it cost to live in Stuttgart?
Approximtely 600-700 euros.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The language for a foreigner is not easy at all. Fortunately, the univerity offers a big number number of courses.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Stuttgart from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Stuttgart?
Take a tour in the city center (Stadtmitte) and hang out in one of the numerous pubs, going to a disco or enjoy a party n the student campus.
