Because I had the opportunity to do a research internship in Sweden and I wondered why not?

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It's for a year. I received less than 10000 kr.

What is the student lifestyle like in Stockholm?

The student lifestyle is pretty varied; Stockholm has many activities and events but depend on your budget as well.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Stockholm to other students?

Yes, I would.

What is the food like?

The Swedish cuisine is based on potatoes and meatballs. Also you can find other types of cuisine in town.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Stockholm?

Yes, a lot. Finding accommodation is quite complicated so if you are thinking to move in, I recommend you to start as soon as possible.

How much does it cost to live in Stockholm?

Around 8000 kr.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Depending on your language skills and where you come from may be easier to learn It.In my case, it's not going easy to get to grips with.

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Stockholm?

Definitely, Södermalm to go on a night out.

Odenplan, Gamla Stan and Södermalm are full of good restaurants!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Gamla Stan, Fotografiska museum, Vasa museum, Skansen, Drottnigholm Castle, Gröna lund, kungsträgården, Millesgården, Real palace...
